I could get down on this. Here in middle GA. I have a couple of Broncos to choose from but not a 6gen.

I'm in central GA, and have a couple other Bronco buddies that may or may not see this.

I've haven't done a meet-up road trip in a longgg while, and those weren't off-roading. Mostly imports aggressively running mountain roads (organized...ish) making our own group weekends surrounding national show/track events. Absolutely some of my fondest (and scariest!) memories, just a different flavor!

So yeah, I'm totally down for it.
You sound hot

Moonshiners is a personal favorite of mine in that area. TotD is impossible to have fun at with all the traffic and cops over the weekend. You'll see me there Thursday afternoons or Friday mornings and then bouncing.

Have you driven 226A but Little Switzerland? It's my favorite road I've ever driven. Start at the bottom of the mountain!
I have not driven it. I also get up to the Devils Triangle a couple times a year also plus multiple roads over in Sequatchie Valley. I usually don't get to far over into NC past Highlands or Bryson City.

It may be summer 2022. We have a bunch of outage time between now and then. I've got a 90 day coming up in Spring. Be a good time to ride with the top on and windows up with the AC on.

A clean run on the Hellbender from last June. Love that area!

Does anyone in this thread have dealer recommendations? I’m reserved with LaFayette Ford in Fayetteville, NC. They want $1,000 non-refundable and I think offering msrp, but I haven’t gone in to talk pricing. Anyone know of a $500-or-less dealer or one offering invoice pricing? I’m a day 1 reservation holder (10:52 PM)

I’d want a BadLands, 2.3/MT/MIC with High or Lux and optional wheels (probably the MT tires as well).

Considering the Jeep 4xe or EcoDiesel Rubicons, or just pushing my reservation to MY22.

Just send him a message, thanks! By his spreadsheet I’d be #6 in line currently.
NP. Sending people his way actually hurts my position in line, haha. March 19th cannot come fast enough.

Well I’m considering Jeeps and maybe swapping to MY22 reservation. We will see. Might get a cheapo used Jeep to knock around this spring/summer/fall and see what shakes out on the Broncos. I like the white but would love to see the green.

Question: for those who have experience with this ride, is the 2dr Big Bend or Black Diamond suited well for this sort ride, or would an upgrade to Badland be better suited? This will be my first time doing a ride like this, which sounds fun, and I don't plan to do rock crawling or extreme off-roading. Thanks!
