To Order or Not to Order, that is the question??

Been waiting since 2017 when they announced they were bringing it back. The way things have shaken out with being able to factory order what will be a collector's item (every 2021 will be, not just the First Edition) with everything I need, want and gotta have is a bonus...

I really don't see us being able to choose our own time to place orders. If dealers don't set appointments they'll have periods of being overwhelmed or doing nothing.

I wouldn't do business with a dealer who tried to force me to place an order before I was ready. They aren't the boss of me.

Can you confirm something; we have been repeatedly told that genuine Ford Accessories can be ordered at the SAME TIME we place the Bronco order and 2 relative issues; 1. these can be bundled into the loan and 2. FORD will pay the Dealer to install any accessory ordered at the time the Bronco is ordered and those accessories will show up on the build sheet.

You can order accessories and have them put in the loan, only DIO (Dealer Installed Options) are paid by Ford to be installed...

Yes the accessories can be put into the loan...

Options and DIO show up on the invoice and window sticker...Accessories do not...

You will have until the end of Jan to order otherwise Ford will cancel the reservation and return the $100 deposit if there is one on file...

We are already accepting the B&P sheets so that we are ready in advance prior to calling the customer for the final order...

We will start when Ford opens up the order bank and will have to be completed by the 31st of January...

OK, my build is finished as the B&P now stands, and we have until Jan 31st to convert. My Dealer wants me to come in as soon as the order bank opens to order (of course) but I want to see what will be in the updated B&P before I do, there might just be something I can't live without! Or would it be best to place the order soon as possible then modify it when the new B&P comes out if needed?

Just remember B&P is not the end all...

I have had many orders for the F-150's that could not be built in WBDO the way B&P allowed and have had options that B&P says are not compatible with the truck, so when WBDO opens we all will know more...

I have until the end of January. They can't cancel my reservation if I decide not to show up on 12/08 just because that works for them.
When I am ready, I will contact the dealer and set up an appointment though out of respect for them.

I'm going to wait until the mid-January date in hopes I can actually see a Bronco in person. Or at least some colors in person.

You may see colors but you will not be able to see a production Bronco...

They will start production in March for the crash test, company test vehicles and mannequins, then start producing the retail orders...

I suspect they'll let you select the time that works for you, but I'm betting that's what will be required.

If the options are available it does not matter when you order the Bronco..

Ford will only build it when it can be built...

Ford will then put them in time stamp order as they can be built and start production in April for the retail orders, unless CV shuts down Michigan again then who knows..
