does the rear bumper looks plastic to anyone or is it my imagination?
or maybe a plastic cover attached to a metal bar...?

I'm 100% expecting it to be a plastic cover after seeing this post, same as the Wrangler bumpers.
I don't mind though especially if it keeps the cost down and we can pick our favorite aftermarket bumper with proper shackle mounts and integrated tow receiver anyway.

I am surprised that the end caps don't appear to be removable/replaceable. I was hoping for a metal bumper as well to sink some lights into. I am guessing that the aftermarket will be all over this. I am hoping that SEMA is overrun with Broncos this year (Preproduction models sent to the aftermarket).

its quite simple

Either the photo is CGI and messed up the hinge or the video is CGI and messed up the hinge

no reason for there to be different hinges on different models/trims

Jeep has an optional tailgate brace I think to take the weight of adding a larger spare tire. Could this be a brace for optional bigger tires?

The two images look very different in the hinge.

I'd rather have it be cheapo plastic with a metal bar under it ... and just like the tires and wheels I'd replace it with something better aftermarket later.

Ford will have the Bronco but it will not be filling upper south hall this year. Majority of aftermarket companies will not have access until the first of the year. If you see accessories at SEMA they will be Fords accessories.
