So today I had to do a town run. Up my 35 degree curved and rutted driveway. 2wd and speed do it fine as long as Im not going slow to protect my wife. So this town run had a few things. One i needed some pieces of conduit to weld a mount for 4 more 100 watt solar panels on my garage. Second my co workers 2000 TJ is having leaking problems so I needed to get a radiator for her. Also my 91 Comanche is leaking PS fluid out the box, so it needed a new box. After I got up my driveway I remembered I'm about to go over 200,000 miles. Original motor, trans, tcase, and diffs. Only injectors, shocks, alternator, distributor heater core, and Warn hubs have needed replacement. It has been a great Bronco for 24 years. So running around to parts stores for Jeeps my Ford clocked 200,000 miles without so much as a head gasket failure. So as an icing on the Blue Oval cake, I saw a lifted YJ on the side of the road next to a graveyard. He had a bad fuel pump and was trying to get ahold of his lady for a tow. I asked him where he was going, just a mile up the road. So I tossed him a line and pulled him back home.
Just thought I would share the story of my Bronco having a good day taking care of Jeeps.
