"Proportional liability", that's the biggest crock of horseshit I've ever heard.

They have a bunch of Bronco videos up on youtube. You'd think they'd bend over backwards to take care of their customer. If I were her I'd be livid.

If this is my dealer I would want to know if they totalled a customer car and are refusing to pay up even if its not a Bronco
There's a forum for that very thing: Forums > Off Topic > General Auto & Other Vehicles Talk

Otherwise, it pops up as an alert for folks that are following the general Bronco forums and generally pisses people off if it isn't even remotely related to Broncos.

EHH, well either way her insurance should be taking care of it. Does it suck, yes, but that is what insurance is for.

Ehh I think the guys that ordered from Tomball Ford wont mind, also even this was an Escape in this story it could of easily been a Bronco. But it is very obvious it pissed you off. Sorry for looking to help people stay away from predatory and bad dealerships

But thank god the admins moved it so you can continue to sleep easy at night

How the fuck does a vehicle get that fucked up when it's only in for an initial oil change?

Why was it being driven on the street? It's not one of those urban dealerships with multiple building in different locations, is it? Cause I've had to deal with that bullshit.

WHAT THE FUCK.

The dealer says they are working with all the insurance companies involved and have provided a loaner car to the customer for a month.

This is an example of why your dealer has you sign like 8 little arbitration agreements.

I read the article and fail to see how it is the dealerships issue. Allstate insurance is the culprit. Their insured driver caused the accident, but they are trying to defer cost by claiming the dealership mechanic was “ 30%” responsible…see you in court Allstate. Imagine that, an insurance company trying everything they can to avoid paying out. One has to wonder why these insurance companies even bother to make TV commercials claiming they are there for the customer. One giant rip off.

In Texas ... insurance follows the car...
Wow, y'all have some different laws for sure. In NC when you sell/trade you just cancel your insurance on the car. The next buyer has to insure the car with whoever they please before they can get a tag.
