Im legit surprised this is much of a discussion here. For anyone who has ever mounted a mobile radio, as you pointed out, is also running an antenna lead... and running 12v and ground, especially in a proper gauge to handle the wattage, is going to be no big deal.

The dash USB is for the more casual people who are running lower wattage devices.

On the fleet side you can spec Fords with power leads that terminate under the dash... which they could have done with the bronco. But even those are never big enough to actually power anything. We always use them to run relays off a switch.
Exactly.

And if you get the aux switchs you'll have leads in kick plate already. Should be pretty simple to route from there, you're past the hard part, the firewall. The larger aux switches should cover a CB just fine.

Well some people would like both. Ford could do it if they want to. Some people in this thread take it personally that some of us want both MGV and power seats.
I was slightly disappointed when I saw the hose-out interior wouldn't be available with the powered seats - and I'm not going to bother reasoning how "easy" it would have been Ford to water-proof the electronics.

I'd rather have powered seats and then just drop some money on deep, rubber floor mats I can throw into the Bronco.

I've had them in my Audi for nearly 5+ years. It's trivial to yank 'em out and hose them off when they get filthy. Dog hair, sand, water, dirt, all that crap. I also have the 3" high trunk mat for the Audi and I've spilled oil, coolant, and all sorts of noxious crap and it's still easy enough to clean up, and re-install.

Not really an issue to me either way.

this isn’t true on B&P
Edit: if you add the mid package and above then you get the heated seats in the MGV
