Took delivery Saturday of week 6.27 build week……..they forgot to install soft top latch/lock bracket on drivers side during production 🤦🏻‍♂️

So it won’t lock/latch when we fold the soft top back. Second pic shows place where bracket is supposed to be and is missing. Third picture shows bracket attached on passenger side and latched.

Will take to dealer but I’m sure it will take forever to get the part……sighhhhh

I wouldn’t think there is a big run for those missing parts, so hopefully it’s a quick fix from Ford. Fingers crossed!

We’ve got a dirt mountain build that was started in January and just finished last week and I can’t wait to see what surprises Ford has in store for us when it arrives.

Did the dealer notice that during PDI?
If they missed something so obvious during PDI at the dealer, imagine what else they missed.
I'd be going over that with a fine tooth comb and a camera.

This would not even be looked at during a pdi. We look over under hood, under vehicle, check seat latches, seatbelts, heater and a/c functions, adjust tire pressure and test drive looking for noises and running and shifting problems. Ford has a pdi sheet of what they want looked at and that is it. You also install loose shift items like antenna and floor mats.
