Hi everyone. My Braptor is finally inbound. I wanted to get a take on some of the top “must do” modifications or upgrades on the Bronco or Braptor. Is there a list or thread somewhere? #1 on my list is PPF.

TIA!

Is taking delivery considered a mod now? 🤣
Given it will be 3 years next month since I originally placed my Bronco reservation, taking delivery needs a category all its own!

My favorite first, inexpensive and functional Mod was installing Redline hood struts.

IAG Interior Dome Lights. Can be wired to act as normal dome lights AND also connected to an AUX switch.
I'm gonna need that secondary connection set of directions for an AUX Switch. Just added them last weekend, and was wondering how to make it work like a switchable dome light.

I paid someone to install the lights so I'm not exactly sure what you need to do. However, IAG support was super helpful. The installer called them and got the information over the phone. I would just give them a call.

First was side steps, because I had to hop to get in. I can't remember exactly what I had prioritized on my list of mods, but bumper and ditch lights quickly moved to the top after I hit a deer one night.

Steps Tune if no SAS some type of suspension upgrade + 35s mudflaps - some amber lights.

tire cover is actually quite nice, air compressor (don't do ARB if your cheap - get something more realistic but good that hooks up to battery) mats for trunk for dog and weather mats for everywhere else.

Also a good mod is getting a membership to a touchless car wash - over paying 5k for PPF for the whole car. Bring your own cleaning towels after and it'll look perfect if you take your time with the door seals tires etc for 20 bucks. Not to mention a touchless wash that does undercarriage.

In General:

Windshield Protection Film - vertical windshields take a beating and crack easier
Tint Front Door Windows to match

For Bronco Raptor Specifically:

Upgrade to 39s and lift collars (see pics)

It all depends on what your intentions are with the truck. So far, we've usually done perch collars front and rear for some additional lift with 38s or 39s. We've outfitted a couple with aftermarket front bumpers and lighting. We've added additional lighting to some of our other projects. On others, we're doing upgraded suspension components as well from RPG. Currently waiting for them to finish up their UCA design. But we're throwing billet UCAs, tie rods, upper and lower links, and panhard bars as well.

Lights, wheels/tires, lift are pretty much the standard.

Here's a couple that we've done so far:
