I’m so torn on this thing. I think the front looks good but the side profile is terrible.

Trying to find the towing spec for the 90. It says 8200 lbs but I guessing that is for the 110.

Hmmm ...

100% facts. I had a friend who was looking at a used Range Rover and I told her to not even consider it. Way I showed her? Look up on Cargurus a 15 year old Range Rover, and a 15 year old g-wagon. Now consider that the Range Rover and g-wagon cost virtually the same new. Think there might be a reason?

Above is the reason I consider the new defender a fail. It may have the capability to get to places, but it has the image of a business man who thinks his trip to lake Tahoe is an "adventure" as he parks his new defender in front of a cabin he rented... But that's just me.

Yeah, totally missing the real Defender market to serve the pretender Defender market. Another market vacated for Mahindra or someone willing to make a simple easy to repair bush capable vehicle.

I love the Mahindra. Adore it! It's just a tad too much money vs. how simple it is. Its easy to option one will into the 20k plus price range. It's really easy to make street legal here in az though. If the bronco ends up really expensive, I may just get the roxxor instead.

That's probably less than 10% of the market you show there. LR would have folded decades ago if you were CEO  ... Jeep also

Naw... I would keep Jeep on the path they are going. You say 10 percent of the market, but I say Jeeps similar to the defender pics I posted above are part of the reason the Wrangler sells 1/4 million units every year. Jeep has done a great job of creating a platform that people can easily turn into a badass looking rig. The guys with badass Jeeps help define the brand image. The defender was a chance to get a price of that pie, instead they shoved another basic looking SUV in the same market as their others...

there is a good reason why my boss trades In his heated/ A/C garage kept Range Rover every 100k miles. Because after that look out. That thing is super nice on the inside tho. Dear lord.

New defender looks meh, high price tag. Better to buy used in a few year or a used g wagon. Or the Bronco!
