It will be under 120mph because most LT tires are only rated to 120.

My '16 Focus doesn't have a governor that I've found (124). My '08 E350 is set at 90.

My 6.2 Raptor is limited to 99 because of tires. You can buy tires rated higher, in the KO2 series. I guess they are rounder??? Or xray better? Speedo reads about 103 when the limiter kicks in.

Why do the American manufactures add governors? Every Chevy and Ford I have owned has had one. Yet all the foreign cars I own, nothing....

You just have to go faster

The Germans mostly limit at 155 mph, a few are lower and some are unlimited

American cars generally have the governor because they put low speed rated tires on them BOOM FLIP FIRE DEATH

They exist because not every tire can go 200mph, they will rip apart. Off-road type tires have very low speed rating typical cutting off on the 100mpg mark or at least around there. Plus if you plan on going 120 on 35s you are just crazy

I'll fill you in on a little secret. It won't be long after the Bronco comes out that aftermarket tuners will begin to support them. I have an SCT tuner with custom 5star 93 octane tunes I use with my Ecoboost F150, which I hope will eventually be able to be paired with my Bronco through an update. You can disable both the speed and rev limiters through the tuner interface. Disclaimer: Using an aftermarket tune on a vehicle still under warranty will sometimes void the warranty if the dealership notices the changes on an OBD scan. Best not to use a tuner until the powertrain warranty has expired unless you don't care about the warranty. But, tuning an Ecoboost really wakes up the potential these engines have, if done within safe parameters from a reputable custom tune shop. Also stick below the speed ratings of your tires or you can possibly run into trouble.

I love me a fast vehicle but the Bronco doesn't need to go any faster than 100. Because the correct tire for a Bronco is an MT and most are rated for 98.

It's shaped like a brick and has off road tires and suspension. 100 mph is plenty fast enough.

My E46 M3 was limited to 155mph. Have bounced off it numerous times at road courses with long straightaways.
