Totaled?

More than a month later and still it sits. Nothing more from USAA. Everyday I call and they say the adjuster is reviewing it. I’m getting rather irritated. I went past it (300 miles away) to get some stuff out of it. It’s dead as a post.

At this point it’s the body shop and USSA simply not talking to each other.

What a load of crap. They totaled it. From a freaking deer strike.

The final number they came up with at USAA was $16,100 before my deductible. Now they are compiling a "fair market value." Am I going to have them on this? I can see this being a low number and I am going to be pissed. I'm getting a list together or somewhat similar cars that are for sale currently. I've never had a car totaled before. What a waste.

Seeing the wrecked Broncos in the general sub forum really made me annoyed by this again. I did end up getting more than that joke of a settlement but it was still not enough IMHO to find something comparable with the silly car prices. But the fact that it was totalled to begin with just makes me mad.

I know I know, I should just go cry in my cheerios.
