Well, that will cover the 4-pin connector. As long as you never need a 7-pin for trailer brakes, upgraded equipment or the sensor suite with the Bronco then you'll be good with turn signals and brake lights.

Otherwise you're re-wiring that completely.
Right, which is fine with me, but those looking for more capacity or function would want a 7 pin. There were 7 pins available on Quadratec, I just used this one as an example. And I think the Trailer Sway Control will sense a trailer off the 4 pin, at least my F250 knows when a trailer is back there with just a 4 pin..

Those concerned that the Bronco doesn't have a built in brake controller: Late model Fords I have owned came with a pigtail to wire an in cab controller under the dash. Not as clean as factory installed, but then it's pretty apparent Ford doesn't really want folks towing a large trailer with their Broncos.

What are the chances those 4 bolts line up with the under $100 after-market on the left?
I am wondering that myself since I already have one sitting around myself.

11” spacing on the outer two bolts/5” on the inner two.

Where is the left hitch from? Or more specifically what vehicle is it for?
The one on the left is for a wrangler from quadratec.

If it matched you could powder coat that bad boy and be in busienss.

Looks like mission to measure for the next person who finds one in a Fairfield Inn parking lot. :)

My offroad camper can go anywhere the BL can go. When we go camping, the harder the trail and journey to get there, the more epic spot I find and fewest number of people.

wife’s 4dr BL will be towing this. Fully loaded it comes in at 3,395lbs which I would like a little more wiggle room than the 105lbs just for piece of mind. I will transfer the Redarc tow pro elite brake controller over from her current GC to the Bronco.

For those of you who still don't understand, this is why 3500lb towing capacity is too little. Not one of you can seriously say that a Bronco should not be able to comfortably tow this.

105 pounds of wiggle room, meaning what? There is an engineering design principle used that dictates to design to at least 2x more than spec up to 4x above spec. The hitch design Ford uses can easily handle more than 3,500 pounds. The tow rating is based on vehicle design factors other than the mechanical design of the metal apparatus.

At this point we don't have GCWR or enough other specs to confirm that being that close to the advertised tow rating is actually okay for the payload he will have in his vehicle.

I can't argue there. It should at least be like 5600lbs or something
A 5600 lb trailer is going to have a tongue weight of 675-840 lbs. A 4 DR Bronco’s load capacity, including passengers is 1,370 lbs. Subtract the 2 and you realistically don’t have any cargo capacity left. The front and rear axle rating comes into play along with the GCWR, which I have yet to see. A Ranger has a larger payload capacity, different axles, and suspension, which can add to its tow rating. The Bronco is built to be an off roader not a trailer tow vehicle.

Certainly, but what we're seeing is pretty unreasonable. It looks like a couple won't be able to load their dogs into a 4 Door and tow even this trailer:

Agree it is buts its sad that my wife’s GC trailhawk is just as capable offroad, has no issue running 98% of the trails that any Bronco will ever run.

its not so much the tow rating for me at this point as Im still under but its now the GCWR and Fords calculations making zero sense.
