Right, which is fine with me, but those looking for more capacity or function would want a 7 pin. There were 7 pins available on Quadratec, I just used this one as an example. And I think the Trailer Sway Control will sense a trailer off the 4 pin, at least my F250 knows when a trailer is back there with just a 4 pin..Well, that will cover the 4-pin connector. As long as you never need a 7-pin for trailer brakes, upgraded equipment or the sensor suite with the Bronco then you'll be good with turn signals and brake lights.
Otherwise you're re-wiring that completely.
Those concerned that the Bronco doesn't have a built in brake controller: Late model Fords I have owned came with a pigtail to wire an in cab controller under the dash. Not as clean as factory installed, but then it's pretty apparent Ford doesn't really want folks towing a large trailer with their Broncos.
