Traction control button dead? SOLVED

I noticed my tc hero button seems to do nothing. Baja mode will disable the tc so I know it will turn off. Pushing or holding the tc button does nothing.

I did read someone else had this issue along with multiple parking brake failures and ended up being a parking brake module. I have had no such issues with the brakes.

Any ideas?

I have the same issue. Pushing the button for 7 seconds or for eternity does not matter it will not turn off. Does anyone have a fix so I don't have to take it to the dealership.

I ordered a new switch bank. Will have it Monday.

The dealer needs to update your comtrol module. Had the same issue.

I am still getting parking brake faults, but the TC turns off and on now.

I'm curious why you ordered a new part when it is still under warranty. Did you modify it somehow?

I haven't used that device myself (I have a mongoose plus), but it is reported to work with FDRS. FDRS software 2-day license is $50 at motorcraftservice.com.
