Anyone think it is eventually coming? Tire carrier can easily be moved to a stout rear bumper for the street.
Don't really need a 37/40" spare offroading in mostly parks in the NE (especially with double beadlocks)

That door will be a major PIA stuck (or broke) all twisted up on some off camber obstacle and you need to
get say a 115lb portable winch out of the back.

I surly hope so!!!!!!!

It looks like there might be hope with @Lowcountry Bronco post......

All I've been wanting is a 2D, 2.7L, 7MT, Drop Down Tailgate and Swing Away Bumper Mounted Spare Tire Carrier.

I can see & understand the need of the Swing Away Tailgate on the 4D, as it allows you to reach all of the way to the back of the rear seats. This isn't an issue for the 2D. Also a Drop Down Tailgate on the 2D would actually Increase the Cargo Space (no latch meninism protruding into the cargo area).

Oh, keep the Rear Glass with the top and have it to be closed After the Drop Down Tailgate is closed. This would be better for Wet Weather issues.

Thanks. Figured Jeep had em, but I don't follow heeps @ all.

What would be even cooler (if VERY expensive), is a "FSB" powered rear
window type kit (with complete new TG) that aligned with a custom made
hard top. Then the soft top would just have it's own soft window
(IE, like FSB full soft tops)........

TG's rock for parties, pre-concert parking lot gatherings, offroad field repairs, even
carrying oversize loads that hang out the back. Can even get a flip-out cargo extender
like on pickups.

4 doors could probably fit a 35 inside, like I do on my FSB. (pic here I was measuring space left during interior upgrade, for small sub amp next to 35 AT spare)...

I don't follow jeeps either but most of these posts of "will they offer xxxxx for Bronco" can be answered by looking at what's available out there now. If multiple vendors are making something for a jeep it makes sense to offer it for the Bronco if there's a market and money to be made.

For this it looks like a cheap option but then again looks like someone made it in their backyard. If you're wanting a drop down window and full retro EB tailgate look to pay for it and at that point it might not make business sense to mass produce.

Either way, good luck, there's videos out there too of the solution above.

Swing out for the tire....I love how the SWAG all say, "Doesn't include the tailgate". Huh? Where do you get that, then? lol

Well, one would think you already had one unless it was crashed or stolen. It uses the one from the vehicle.

And then, what about the rear camera? Will the wires run thru the swing out tire carrier? I really dig this option for not unreasonable money.

Someone will probably make a kit, but this would also be something most can wire up themselves.

Some said the same thing about the swinging spare tire rack on the 78-79’s. Been hanging a 35-12.50x15 BFG Mud Terrain on one since 1985 never had an issue.

Pulling a 115# winch out of the back will be even harder when you have to lean in another couple feet. Getting things in and out of my early Bronco is no fun while pulling the tailgate over to the side in my Samurai is relatively easy and it has a 75# wheel and tire on it. It would certainly have its benefits when using it as a table though.
