cheesy photoshop I did but I always thought an aftermarket company should do an aftermarket trail sight with a picatinny rail on top would look good and give additional mounting options.

they are aligned with the inside edge of your tire. they help you locate the vehicle on obstacles, its actually really useful if you go offroad.

Wrong about what? The truck would lose a lot of character and look stupid without them…but you do you.

I understand, but I can't think of anything I would add. Hoping to see ideas and if they would be useful. I have survived off road fine without them and I like how the body looks when they aren't there.

If they become useful, then cool. Or I can can keep explaining to people what they are there and why I don't have anything mounted to them.

I can say that I like the Dee Zee mounts for lights. Temp holder for lights when I need them.
