We are working on a possible solution now. It will require some way to mount both driver and passenger sides of the Pak Rax so that they do not “pull away” under load and stress from the top. It will likely be 2 extrusions connecting the Pak Rax.

Yes, we are developing a half rack for both 2 and 4 door models. The half-rack will likely not have as much weight capacity but still offer mounting solutions for you. Our Pak Rax will integrate perfectly into our roof rack!

will the 2d half require drilling?

edit: nevermind, i see you cancelled that. really trying to hold out for a 2d half and this is perfect. resurrect it, i'll preorder one and test it.

As of now, a half 2 Door rack, is not possible. All of our current projected roof rack variants do not require any drilling.

July!? I’m going to need something sooner than that. I have trips coming up. If you need another tester let me know because I will wear it out at Big Bend and a few other places. Otherwise, I’m going to have to go with whatever I can get first and I really want/need this for the 2dr.

Sorry. Current market delays and raw materials are issues we are running into. If we can get them out sooner we would. Sorry all of our prototype roof racks are in the wild doing the testing to ensure your future roof rack is the best we can put together for you and other Bronco owners.
