Well shoot. Maybe I should move to soft top. I do like how it looks and I assume that eventually I can find an aftermarket top.

Ive owned a soft top in MN and winters are no joke. At least this can have remote start.
Which is why I wonā€™t sacrifice hardtop for soft top. MN winters suck and Iā€™d be worried itā€™d be cold. I do have a vin but itā€™s been moved out twice already.

When you get it can you drive it down to Rosemount and give me a ride?

My dealer has 15 soft tops and none of them have been pulled to be built.

Bizarre. Maybe your dealer has figured out how to game the system and force ford to give them an oversized share of hard tops? Or maybe there is just some other scheduler bias that we don't know about.

I wonder what would happen if a dealer 99-ed their late soft top orders during the preview period. Would that force the scheduler to fill their allocation with hard tops at the expense of hard top reservations at other dealerships?

I'm not changing anything. If I have to pay 60k I want exactly what I want, and I'm not looking for saving a couple just to get it a bit earlier.
I'd not be interested in a Bronco if I could not get it the way I ordered it, I'd be looking at something else.
I'm in no rush to get it, luckily. So when ever it gets here, it gets here. And I'm gonna have a blast.

And if a top or a tow package sends me into next year? Oh well.
Made my reservation 4 hrs into the reveal, when I finally got into the website.

4dr BL, Squatch, Lux, tow, CO - and that's the way I'm gonna get it one of these days.

Since we're all guessing anyway, and i have a build date with MIC, tow, High, I'll just opine: stick to your build. It'll be worth the wait. There's a bevy of accessory soft tops on the Ford Accessory site right now, but who knows if you'll ever get an aftermarket MIC, if you order OEM softtop? And soft tops wear out if they're original equipment. Much better to have the MIC and use a Soft Top seasonally. IMO

I switched to a soft top and got a vin a week later. Have sasquatch but no lux
I made the change to a soft top 2 weeks ago and still don't have a production date. Keeping my fingers crossed though.

Day 1 res, 4 door base, SAS, 2.7, aux switches.

I'm not sacrificing anything I want just to get a vehicle I don't 100% want. My MIC, Sas etc. stays.

Absolutely. I'm already driving a vehicle that I don't 100% want. Why pay more to do the same again? What I've got is "okay" for now and inexpensive enough to make it worth it until Bronco does arrive.

The whole concept of "I'll change it to something I don't want, or I can live with it just so I MIGHT get it faster" it just absolutely mind boggling to me.............................

I do want a soft top though. I want both. Two tops wasnā€™t an option when I did my build. My thought was I can always get a hard top (eventually). Also I think your . key is stuck.
