So I haven't been able to determine which trim levels get Trail Maps and on which size screens are they available on. Any info out there?

‘on x offroad’ is my go to right now on my iPad. I like the interface and it has the features I need, including a huge range of trail maps.

Are you using the paid version? Iv seen this app promoted in a few youtube channels. I downloaded and used the free version and see only 1-3 trails in the entire northeast! Alltrails even shows more than this app for me.

It matches up almost identically to my paper trail map book. Let me check and see what I see and I’ll let ya know.

Does Alberta have any sort of version of our BC Backroad Mapbooks? My coworker got me one and I'm amazed how much info they can fit into them

TrailRecon did a video on ways to find trails, he talks about some of the tools he uses.

I second Gaia. They have a very deep collection of maps and a very powerful app. I would give them a serious look.
I have been using them for years and never needed anything more.

Thanks for the video resource. I either need to move to a new part of the country or buy some land and start carving some trails. I’m having a hell of a time finding trails near me.

However I did just inquire into joining a local nonprofit four-wheel-drive community so hopefully they will have some knowledge on where to take my rig.

Slow down on the duct tape. Someone's gotta come up with an iPad mount that uses console grab handle screws. Sportys Pilot shop sells Apple connector GPS receivers. ONYX charges $20 a year for hunters, off-roaders and hikers.

With Gaia you don't need to use the iPad since it works with Apple CarPlay on your 8” screen.
