The reason it has a back that doesn’t easily remove or is open is to prevent would be thieves from simply folding the rear seats and accessing your stuff that way. That's where I was going with my inconvenient comment. The 2dr will need the seats dropped frequently if you haul larger items, and this thing is going to be in the way.
I'll have to add some more pics once I get home this weekend and hopefully be able to answer some questionsI've been planning to get the deluxe lifting version of this for my 4-door, just to have some semblance of secure storage with no top on. (Though last I looked it seemed that had mysteriously vanished from the Accessories catalog.)
Couple of questions:
- How long do you think it would take you to remove the top and forward panels (if you needed to fold down the seats to haul something longer)? Can you remove just the top and front, while leaving the side panels in place?
- How sturdy does the top feel? If you still had this in place with the MIC top on, would you feel comfortable stacking luggage or a cooler on top?
Where do you order it from?Update to my cargo enclosure damage:: the place I ordered from said not on them it is UPS problem. Great customer service TCC! (Sarcasm)
TCcustoms.Where do you order it from?
Not just the jack, but that other lockable compartment (Ford Accessory) below in front of the jack.i was wondering if this will impair access to your jack and other emergency equipment sored below the cargo deck in the rear?
my major point of concern would be the access to a jack or other emergency tools, because you never get a flat in a good situation. it will be either raining or on the shoulder of a high speed road with a narrow shoulder... taking apart a cabinet in the back of your car might be dangerous...Not just the jack, but that other lockable compartment (Ford Accessory) below in front of the jack.
Same issue here….TWICE! I order this and the first one looked like it barely survived a weekend at the off-roadeo as an obstacle to climb. The contents were scratched and bent with all the hardware missing. Ford quickly had it replaced and the second shipment came in looking in decent shape…on the outside. Yet we open to box to find the contents just as scratched and bent as the first package with missing hardware from it too. I got fed up and just returned it for a credit. Too heavy to have to go through that a third time. For something at that price I’d expect better packing material despite the obvious handling damage from the shippers too.Glad you got yours! I got mine also. Here is mine that came. No company names, but I am pissed. It looked like it was open, used for testing and tthrown in a box with no packaging material.

Order direct from my Ford dealershipThat sucks! Where did you order it from?
the packaging is definitely an issue!
I think you should make a bigger deal out of this they advertise all over YouTube . maybe you could DM the big man on YouTube . You know the big one that keeps saying he’s 6 foot five. Good luck that is terrible customer service.TCcustoms.
I bought the Tuffy 2Dr fixed lid enclosure last week while waiting for my Bronco build later in August.
Absolutely, surprised the box was mammoth and 50lbs+ when picking up from the dealership.
Pros: Very well made, easy to put together, includes Velcro Bronco branded straps for the MOLLE enclosure, and don't lose your lasso floor tie downs when it is installed
Cons: Instructions aren't great, can't use cargo mat(unless you modify it)
Can you tell me the depth of the lid?40 1/2" wide, 19 1/2" tall, 18" deep
