I think ford has been planning their own tunes which of course won't violate warranty. every time anyone talks about increasing the power, people start with the "why don't you buy a different vehicle?" horsepower policing. the thing is, tunes aren't just about horsepower. as we know, they also can improve throttle performance, shifting, etc and even that can really give a better driving experience, so no, i won't go and get a mustang or GTI or whatever other car i'm supposed to buy if i consider a tune.

Don't forget Hennessey might be making a little bit of HP in these, what were those numbers again, like 400 HP and 500 ft/lbs Torque. Same 2.7 motor, with a warranty.

To each their own! I'm getting a tune for multiple reasons besides just HP and TQ. When Bronco owners tune these, if/when transmission issues develop; everyone here will benefit from the knowledge a new "I broke my Transmission" thread will offer to members.

You misunderstood my point, if Hennessey is willing to give a warranty for 500 ft/lbs, then I am not worried about the stock transmission or motor at 500 ft/lbs of torque or less.

If Hennessey can offer a warranty, then I could easily tune past that without breaking parts. I know that sounds a little arrogant, but I used to do tuning for cars that won national and regional championships.
