Hey All!

Today, we install the all new Turbosmart Kompact Dual Port BOV on our 2021 Ford Bronco First Edition 2.7L . Then, we make some sounds that we all wanted to hear out of the Ecoboost!




Install is as easy as it gets, as you only need 2 hand tools.

- An E6 Socket, along with a ratchet.
- A Phillips Head Screwdriver.

Check both out here below! Dual Port VR13. (50% vented to atmosphere/50% recirculated)

SOOOO my Bronco has different bolts(!) The supplied bolts had a wider thread (bottom in pic) than the bolts that TurboSmart supplied (top)

anyone else seeing this?

SOOOO my Bronco has different bolts(!) The supplied bolts had a wider thread (bottom in pic) than the bolts that TurboSmart supplied (top)

I replied to the other thread where you posted this as well. This should clear it up for you.


You can re-use your factory bolts with the Turbosmart valve. Just need an extended external torx socket as a short one will interfere with the valve when trying to tighten the factory hardware down.

HA... didn't mean to make you chase me to reply... Realized that I had posted in the AMP BOV. Thanks for getting back... I'll give it another shot!

New bolts work. Just did mine Sunday. They lock up tight. Just watch the o rings. I had to add a dab of grease to keep them in place.

Does the 50/50 impact fuel economy negatively or impact the factory warranty? Really liking the sound the upgrade produces. Thanks

Warranty I’m not sure.
It just releases half the extra boost into the atmosphere. No change on mpg seeing we don’t generate boost while cruising.
