Any special care for the windows on the top? Like glass cleaners without ammonia?

Granted it was 3” of rain over just a day, but this was an unwelcome surprise…

Please email us at [email protected] with photos of the back window both open and shut and we will troubleshoot this with you. Water should not be getting in like that.

was the leak on the original window or was it after the defroster/wiper was was installed.
I had no leaks on the original, but leaks started all over when I installed the defroster/washer/wiper.
Todd sent me the new improved tailgate molding which solved the problem with water getting in the bottom of the window. However. i also had water coming in from the top left side. I opened the tailgate and the molding on the frame wasn't glued down enough. I applied superglue as needed and problem solved.
rear window defroster. Wiper is great.

NO FRIGING LEAKS ANYWHERE NOW. FANTASTIC TOP.

I just received my TOR insulated headliner (black ). very nice should do the trick.
HOWEVER, i am not a fan of the two tone decorations. , accordingly I used a black magic marker and converted the grey to black. In my opinion, this is much better looking.

ALSO, there is no fricken way I am removing the hardtop , scraping off the existing liner , peeling back the protective film on the insulated liner and gluing it back on.

I have ordered Velcro ( with glued backing ) which should arrive this week. I will remove the protective barrier on the headliner and attach the glued Velcro to the liner. then Velcro the liner to the existing carpet headliner. this will add extra insulation.

I will send pictures of the finished product when I get everything installed.

Velcro will run about $ 100. I'm using 6 inch width via amazon.

will send all details and tricks with the pics.

very nice TOR product.

Hey, at least you didn't need to fully assemble your hard top like the other guys...

yes, I definitely held out to the bitter end, as soon as I got close to TOR, I bailed. very lucky unlike a lot of poor people to get stuck. That top was supposed to come in three pieces originally. the final assembly was what they were passing on to us. they are still in business

Since it has started raining in Los Angeles (2 days straight now), Ive noticed that after driving for approximately 20 minutes or more, the rear window seals seem to produce a squeaking noise when going over bumps. The sound is similar to running a finger across a balloon but amplified.

Has anyone else experienced this issue with the seals when driving in the rain?

This is the first time the top has been exposed to rain (aside from washing) since it was installed by the team at Turn Offroad in May 2024. I also haven’t removed the top since installing.

Given that rain is rare in Los Angeles, I m wondering if there are any recommended fixes for this issue. Perhaps some time off rubber lubricant for the seals? Thanks.

I would recommend running some silicone based gasket/ rubber conditioner on the OEM tailgate seal. That’s generally where these kinds of squeaks come from. I have not heard of the rear window on the hard top producing a noise when wet.
