Two mighty fine Bronco cleaners - Chemical Guys VRP and Lucas Slick Mist

Performed quarterly car wash and exterior clean today.

My daughter and I spent less than an hour restoring dull black Bronco plastic (bumpers, door handles, fender flares, mirror housings, etc.) with Chemical Guys VRP. Good stuff; easy to apply with a soft cloth. Remarkable results and smells good too. Spare tire rubber looks new.

Now I need her to do the other four tires but it’ll cost me another milkshake or two!

We also waxed the truck using Lucas Slick Mist. Took probably 10 minutes. Once again, easy on and it smells like bubble gum. I’ve used it for years on airplanes with fine results.

Bronco won’t be clean for long, but that’s fine with me.

I got the gallon size of this, so I’m pleased to see it works well as I haven’t washed my bronco yet to try it out

The VRP looks good at first, but when your car gets wet from rain or the morning dew, it’s going to leave white streaks. I stopped using it because of this.

I use Chemical Guys ceramic detailer on my wife’s new Expedition. It keeps the ceramic finish looking showroom shiny. I’ll have my Bronco ceramic coated when it arrives next month.
