I hope your attorney gets their fees as part of the settlement if you win, otherwise it’ll be cheaper to just pay the MSRP. Invoice to MSRP on my Badlands order was around $1400, so X plan adds up to about $2800 off MSRP net. If your dealer decides to play hardball and just sells your order out from under you, your recourse will be to wait for another at the X plan price. Meanwhile they made their $10K ADM on yours and laugh all the way to the bank and deliver you another truck in 6 months for the discounted price. I understand you’re upset at paying extra, who wouldn’t be…but I don’t think most here will go scorched earth with the Google reviews over someone not getting x-plan (that Ford isn’t offering), we save that for the ADM on orders stories.Seeing how I have a legally binding contract, a great attorney, and the ability to go scorched earth on social media including this forum I think I have more leverage than you realize.
This is a warning to anyone that thinks they are going to just walk in and sign the papers come delivery. Dealers are scum and you can expect to renegotiate any prior agreement.
Your best bet is to make an appointment to speak with the GM directly and show him the paperwork he signed previously. He may not even know what his lackeys are up to.
