I don’t think the mileage will change much. I would take a look at your black diamond on 32’s before upsizing, I honestly think it looks great. I figured I’d tell my dad to upgrade to 33’s to until I saw it in person... it really doesn’t need it.

When the stock tires are worn out then I’d say knock yourself out though.
Thanks Nick!! Sounds like good advice!!

Same boat. Figuring 33s will be “just right” once all the aftermarket BS falls into place and I’m ready for a new set.

Im curious is anyone getting the optional wheels? I think they make the BD look bad compared to the rough and tough look of the steelies.

Well I couldn’t resist and ordered a four door Cyber Orange Black Diamond with SASQ. Even looking at this pic the white one sits so much taller and I’d end be regretting not doing it. Plus the wife said get what I want so I jumped at that chance🤣. Now to wait

I waffled for months, whether or not to SAS my 2-door BD, but not because SAS comes with 35s. Per my experience (25+ years wheeling around Moab and exploring the backcountry in the region), 35s are not needed for a 4x4 the size of the 2-Door. For me, 35s are not worth the extra cost of replacement tires, reduced gas mileage, and increased wear and tear on the suspension and driveline systems. What tempted me was the stronger M210 front axle, front locker and Bilstein coilovers. Ultimately, I ordered a 2-Door (currently scheduled for production 7/7) and will shod it with 33s, which I believe is a reasonable compromise for a daily driver/weekend warrior. If I had been forced to order a 4-door, I'd probably have added SAS and run 35s to compensate for the longer wheelbase.

Now I just need to decide which 33" tire--MT Baja Boss A/Ts or Nitto Ridge Grapplers or Toyo A/TIIIs or something else.

I’m looking forward to that 3/4-1” spacer and 33s on steelies once the original set needs replacing (or will the factory General tires have resale value if replaced immediately?).

One day I’ll think about Steelies for winter and some fancy wheels for summer. But, one step at a time.

I've got a white 2-door BD with steelies on order. But every time I see the Cactus BD on steelies I second guess my order.😍

Tempted to switch to CG with all the complaints about black paint. But, I’ve always wanted a black vehicle. So, I’m sticking to my guns. Exact build otherwise.
