Connection problems plagued the early coverage but around the 6 minute mark there is some Bronco footage (Brad working the rocks quite well) 😁

They got it worked out and all the races had great action. Just not much footage of Brad. Loren came in second place in the 4400 class.

Edit: Well if they block it the just pull up utube and go to rock racing tv. that is how I found it. :)

How much Bronco is in these Broncos? Particularly curious about wheel base and suspension mount points. Pretty much stock, body kits over one-off tube frames, or something in between?

More than you think, here is the rundown.

The cliff notes....... basically everything is stock except for the portal axles and Dana 60 out back and the mandated safety equipment (roll bar etc.) When they wreck 'em the just put stock parts back on them....

Here is Healy repairing one after a race.

Wow. Yeah, definitely more than I thought. Watching it handle some of the drop offs and descents in the video I’d have thought it had a longer wheelbase than the stock 2 door. The skill of the driver obviously plays a huge part in that but it’s still encouraging to see the 2 door Bronco’s composure when piloted correctly.
Those portal axle steering knuckles are sexy. What a piece of gear!
