@Ford Motor Company what's the plan for all these undelivered MY '21 Broncos clearly awaiting rework? Will these be changed to MY '22 if not delivered by the end of the year? This week makes 2 months since my build week and I've had no update, so I have little confidence that I will take delivery in 21.

If you have a 21 it will be delivered. It will not change to a 22 as the VIN is for a 21.

No, Vin is tied to 2021 model year

But that's my point. If it isn't reworked by the end of the year, what is their plan?

their plan is to ship you a 2021 Bronco that might arrive on a truck carrying 2022 Bronco's for other people.
Yeah, that's what I am afraid of. I changed my order to soft-top to avoid getting pushed to 22 and it's looking like it's going to happen anyway, plus I compromised on my build.

It doesn’t matter when it ships. They’re not going to peel off a ‘21 VIN plate and slap on a ‘22 VIN plate.
I'm not sure they can legally produce a 21 in 22. If it is still awaiting rework, the build is not complete. That's why most manufacturers change over to the next model year well before the end of the year.

They will ship an unsellable vehicle to a dealer before they hold onto them. They want to invoice and release this year.

That's a good point. This is more likely what they would do to avoid changing VINs.
