Not sure if anyone who has their Bronco has looked into this or not, but can you add the under hood sound deadening liner if your vehicle didn’t come with it? Not sure how it attaches or if it’s an orderable part (@flip)?

I switched my order a while back to a soft top, and since I’m missing out on the sound deadening I was considering adding this later on, if possible.

Thanks!

You can add it. The pad attaches with push pins.
That’s what I was hoping for. Thanks!

Curious how much it is now, haha

M2DZ-16738-A does not show list price, only cost. Depending on what My Price Link says and where you live, should be $92.00 or so. W705002-S300 is the push pin. Ford shows list of $6.00/ea and looks like it takes 13 (6.35 x 16.7). May be some others out there cheaper but would need to get one to see what style.

I ordered it and the clips for $130 with shipping from Marcotte Ford. $65 for the mat and $3 each for the clips. Hopefully it fits with no issue. Worth a shot.
Sounds about right. MPL is crap so you can't see pricing unless you go through another system.

Please post back here once you install it, any tips & tricks to install, and how it is. Bonus points for a "before" and "after" comparison if you notice a difference.

Thanks for the info!

Can you confirm it takes 13 clips?

It’ll be another month before I get my Bronco, but I’ll post info once I have it. I’ve stockpiled a bunch of stuff to install so I’ll probably do a write up.

Glad to see I'm not the only one stock-piling accessories before I get my Bronco haha.

~ $3.50 each from RockAuto (out of stock) and Tasca Parts online stores still pretty spendy Look very similar to fender liner retainer (-N808842-S) that is only .95 cents each

Must be "special" plastic.
