Alas, but for a weighty item like a bumper, routine shipping costs seem not to apply - does the 50% shipping discount also apply to the “special freight quote” for which one must contact ASFIR?….it is at that point my bumper order has been abandoned I’m afraid.

Yes
Both Transmission plates were test-fitted for both a 2DR and a 4DR vehicles.

This skid plate is an awesome upgrade from the plastic OEM one on the base model. The fit is almost too perfect. I needed to use a jack to put a little upward pressure on it to make all the bolts line up. It's legit 1/4 thick and robust.

They got this shipped to me in 6 days... from Israel!

I'm more than happy with it.

I love the fit with the DV8 bumper. I put the same bumper on and was thinking about the DV8 skid plate, but the Asfir looks so much better!

Has anyone compared the weight of these to the OEM plates yet? That is really the only information I'm waiting on before making a decision.

The only other decision is whether the front plate would fit MOD bumpers / hidden winch solutions, but that info is harder to come by.

The only complaint i have…there are 4 low hanging-ish bolts that are completely unprotected. I’m going to do something about them, but i feel like these should have the recessed washers as well, or other protection like in my pictures. (The 2 front transmission skid plate bolts, front fuel tank skid bolt, and the 1 lonely remaining front transfer case skid bolt).

Other than that, awesome product and they fit great on my base, Sasquatch.

Have the low hanging bolts been addressed in the latest version? Or, do I need to buy Rock Dome washers.

They have been fixed. I painted mine black, but they center the holes and protect the bolt head both now.

Hey @unfortunate and @Stonetree !

As a matter of fact, we don't have a plan to modify or design a skid for that area.
With that, we'd love to learn of the reason you'd want a protection skid there. We're always happy to learn of our customer's needs - this is one part of the reasons the Winch Mount plate, Rear Radius Arm protectors, and the Front A-Arms Skids were designed.
