Four door for me. More cargo room, can throw the doors in the back, bigger gas tank, easier for people to get in and out of the rear seats, room for sleeping, etc. I go camping and fishing a lot so it’s just more practical for me.

I feel like there are a thousand threads on this subject.

And something about ice cream.

4 door is the only reason I'm here. If the Bronco was only 2 door it would have been a non-starter.

This thing is for adventure. I want to adventure with my friends, family, dogs, and all the associated crap.

Not surprising that the enthusiast forum that is predominately interested in performance/off-roading and using a 2 dr as a 'toy' is a near 50/50 split. The rest of the real world is probably a 90/10 take rate.

Was 90% 2DR when I reserved up until a couple weeks ago. Now it’s about 60% 2DR.

That 4DR has more to offer than just more space:

- Larger fuel tank
- Cargo leveling tray (OEM)
- Rear seat vents
- 8/10-way power seats
- Stowable doors

Would also make getting my big dog into the vehicle easier, just pop open a rear door.

The 2 door still looks better to me and is cheaper (especially considering it comes with the hardtop I want). Going to be a tough decision up until it’s time to order for me.

2 door for me. I'm young, stupid and comfortable enough with being uncomfortable that the 2 door works for my needs. On JK's and JL's I actually think that 4D looks better and more proportionate, but the bigger doors on the 2D and longer quarter panel on the 2D bronco look perfect IMO.

Congrats! They are going to have great memories growing up in Mom & Dad’s Bronco. Get pics of the first open air ride for a keep sake.

Same boat - 2.5 yr old, with a baby due prior to taking ownership. but I think you and i found that out in a different post.

Curious - are you planning on needing/getting a roof box for road trips with a family of 4? Half the trunk is lost to just the stroller im sure.

Dude wHaT?! Another stupid thread about this nonsense, I thought I told you:
"Real Broncos only have 2 doors"
"I'm a family man! Need dat shweet sleeping space for my sperm kiddos"
"Broseph, I got a Yeti big enough to hold a damn deer and its family, you think that lil' coupe of a 2dr Bronco can handle that?"
"No rear air con vents dude, either way is a no-go, but your stupid poll doesn't have a third option so yolo"
"I'm a bachelor/ette. I need dat shweet space for the honeys that I can't bring back to mom's place because COVID got me stretched for rent and I'm back due"

-----
I get it guys, another thread on the topic. BUT, this time let's poll some hard, quantitative data on which variant you're leaning towards as new information regarding cargo space, seat foldage, and options have been disclosed in the past few days. I have tons of hot takes on this topic, but the weather is too damn warm for any more of my heaters.

I did the same thing for Manual vs. Automatic way back in the day last year month if any of you new guys/gals were interested in walking down memory lane. If there's enough demand, I'll open the polls back up and some of you new cats can chime in on the topic.

Go on now; fill in a cute circle and I'll let you have some ice cream after dinner, but only the off-brand kind.

Peace, plants, and namaste
Ami ✌

For context, I'm doing this because the historical take rate for 2 door Wranglers is becoming low, increasingly so. Lower than Lil' Jon's "Get Low" in fact. Will this change with the new Bronco? Let's find out!
You should have an option for both - my wife gets the 4 dr, I get the 2 dr.

That will probably depend on where/how far we are going. Luckily the wife has a 2016 Explorer so if we are going anywhere really far or needing extra space we will take the Explorer.

Hopefully by the time we take ownership of the Bronco we won't need as much stuff for our oldest kid but who knows, got plenty of time to figure it out still. If Bronco deliveries arent supposed to start till June of 21, I still haven't reserved yet its likely I won't recieve mine till late 2021 or mid 2022 so by then our second will be almost 1 and that means even less stuff to cart around lol

I've only ever had 4-door vehicles (trucks, cars, SUVs, the works).
The amount of times I've had 5 people in the vehicle in the 21 years I've been driving can be counted on one hand. Even then it was only for a maximum of maybe 5 minutes.
I've always thought the 4-door Wranglers (apart from the Gladiator) look stupid.
I also think that the 4-door Bronco - while being orders of magnitude better looking than the Wrangler 4-door - looks much, much worse (disproportionate even) than the 2-door.

I'm going 2-door.

My youngest kid is in junior high, oldest just graduated. We've got 4-door SUVs and minivans for hauling the family where we need to go. They've gotten used to the backseat of my Camaro over the years when we have taken my car. The Bronco 2-door surely can't be worse than that lol.
