My dealer told me this morning my build week has been assigned! I have yet to get an email so perhaps those are batch processed. If this thing shows up in September that would be a great incentive for me to get my head down at work and bust my butt the next couple months.

My build:
4-Door Wildtrak, Cyber Orange, Leather Interior + Tow Package

Switched to soft top. If if I don't get a VIN this week, I give up. (Not really, but maybe.)

More than likely this is not a good thing that they can schedule an entire month of production at once. That means there are very few moving parts within the JIT inventory system and commodities are very much known.

Sure they know exactly what vehicles they can produce, but it's going to be a very constrained, short list of trim levels/options.
I see what your saying. Could pull a lot of people infront of constrained builds...

I was a 6/21 > 7/12 > 7/5 and then 6/28 build week. I found last week when calling Ford that I am now a 8/2 build week (no email notifying me of this) How can they be scheduling the week of 8/2 when i already have a VIN from months ago? Am I missing somthing?
What's your build? Do you have many supposed constraints? Thanks

Let's hope that as commodity stock increases, Ford can use the clean-up weeks to schedule others. Oh wait, I see a flaw in that sentence...two words that shouldn't be in the same sentence: hope and Ford.

In theory they are supposed to be near full production in August. Hopefully, they got some of the issues resolved by then.🤥

What promises did they make to you which you're upset about?

Did I sound upset? I didn't mean to, I've got no reason to be. I'm in the res line caboose.

Why do people think anything but FEs will get scheduled this week?

So, it looks like they are going to be scheduling for the full month of August . Is this a change, I thought previously they were only scheduling for a week. If this is now true, that they are scheduling a full month of production. Hopefully this is the " good news coming " that a poster on another thread alluded to. As a day one reservation and #12 of 86 , I might be starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. (i dropped the tow package 2 weeks ago and ordered it through the parts dept -- supposed to be in my hands any day now ).
Is that really the case? Or is it the same cadence....FE scheduling week 1, all others weeks 2 & 3 then clean-up?
