EDIT: 11/16/2020 12:01 PST
Confirmed:
4 door badlands Overland
tire size 35” MT BFG KM3

Recently found this picture in a thread; stated that it was from a badlands, saw the 96 miles in a quarter tank.

Edit:
4 door
Tank size 20.8
96 miles per quarter tank
384miles/tank
384/20.8 =. 18.5 MPG

just a speculation, don’t quote me but pretty decent mpg for a badlands if I’m correct
Any thoughts?

Well could be some flaws both ways. Most Ford vehicles i have driven get 3/5 of its miles in the first half of a tank of gas. The second half is like, can I make it to the gas station!! Lol

Need to see the incline meter... he may be halfway over with the fumes sloshed towards the float. ?

On a serious note, I can hit 20 with my 5 speed NA 2.7L Tacoma & 32.5" tires. When I'm in the wild or crossing a lot of hills, though, its more like 16mpg... more rpms to make up for the fact that I never regeared the axles.

I'm staying optimistic that the Turbo, even squatched, will help keep the Bronco MPG up near 20 with my driving style. (at least my 2.3 Manual).

I’m thinking 2.3 BL too.
If you hear of folks gettin the same mileage won’t you have wished for the extra 100lbFt?
The Stick is what actually brought me here a year ago, but those horsies and torquies!

Recently found this picture in a thread; stated that it was from a 2 door badlands, saw the 96 miles in a quarter tank
Made some calculations and achieved: 22.7 MPG

2 door tank size = 16.9
96 miles per quarter tank = 384miles / tank
384/16.9 = 22.7

just a speculation, don’t quote me but pretty decent mpg for a badlands if I’m correct

Oh man... can’t I get some credit for this post from 4 months ago?!

315 miles to E on 7/8 tank... works out to approx 360 mile range in full tank.

If this is the 4 door that’s a 20.8 gallon tank, which works out to 17.3 mpg.

If it’s the 2 door, 16.9 gallon tank works out to 21.3mpg.

Obviously there’s a lot of room for compounding errors here...

You would think that these Broncos are being tested hard and are often off road. I wonder what the base model with the 30s would get as a daily driver on paved roads.
25 MPG?
