Seriously, it's odd you've received a vin but suddenly it can't be produced. Did they just figure out the MY21 production cutoff and you ended up without a chair when the music stopped. And make a decision in two days or your just SOL? Darn crappy treatment from FMC.
You wanted a Bronco, if you can wait for a '22, I'd hold out for that....or there's always that shiny new Wrangler...

Why not offer him first dibs on a Bronco Raptor??? That seems totally fair.

Its an offer others have been given when dealer messes up. They know they can deliver an f150 raptor. Braptors arent released, its a carrot. I could be wrong, OP may have gotten clarification on it being a Bronco. In that case I would take that offer in a heartbeat. Id trade my FE for that.

Something seems fishy... I highly doubt that Ford would offer you first in line for a Bronco Raptor, a model which hasn't even been confirmed for the 2022 model year yet. Ford announced it will be available in 2022, but that could mean it's a 2023 model. I have a feeling your dealer is trying to steal your reservation to mark it up $40k.

Just got the call from the dealer that my First Edition won't be built despite getting a VIN earlier this year. I'm told Ford gave the dealer 3 options for me 1. To be first in line for a MY22 (not FE). 2. To be first in line for a Raptor for which there are 0 details, or 3. Cancel all together.


Needless to say as a first day reservation holder for my FE I'm disappointed as last I heard my Bronco would be delivered in November. Heck, I've even been driving by the dealership to see if it arrived early.


What would y'all do if put in my shoes? I'm told I have until Friday.

Definitely Raptor, if you can wait!
