it goes up even faster in the google search results if you search for it and then go about 3-4 pages deep to get to this forum link, and click this link. Then google starts to favor 'that' results that much more.

Not that I've done that, or advocate anyone doing that.

I think at this point this is just a member who created a fake account to try and troll everyone.

The unfortunate fact is that all of this trouble was totally avoidable had the dealer exhibited a modicum of integrity and honesty.

I have been, pretty solidly, pro-Bronco and pro-Ford during this process, much to the shagrin of others here. That said, I would be lying if I said I didn't start researching Jeeps today as a back-up plan. At the end of the day, I just want something fun to drive, and if Ford allows dealers to cheat people, it will quickly zap the fun from the vehicle. I have no problem buying a Jeep...it will be the easiest back-up decision I have ever made.

I have an RSVP for a Lightning and was planning to convert, but I am going to wait until my Bronco transaction is 100% complete before I even think about it. If they make it painful for me, I'm out...and I won't even look back

This whole thread is frustrating and just sheds more light on how car dealers are the lowest rung of the sales ladder. In no other business can someone up-charge at the last minute and get away with it. From what I'm gathering the op caused 'damage' from a door handle hitting a wall. I hope this dealer gets some local public backlash but I doubt it. Most of these guys are embedded in the local community whether they're scum or not.
I'm in the middle of re-ordering for 2022. Never had a signed DORA from dealer, just the order document I had to sign. Had always felt that was good enough but I've now asked for a signed document from the dealer.....still waiting. I thought Ford is now requiring some signed document but I wonder if they've made that clear to dealers and customers. What document is it and what will make it a legal document?
