definitely want to find out what its hooked to. The fuse tap has a 15 amp fuse so its at least not pulling 30 amps through the fuse box, but those wires coming off the relay wiring look barely adequate for even 15 amps.Negative. And yeah wiring external lights here would be... dumb.
My job is installing gps on fleet vehicles. It could be a tracker, but we rarely use relays for those. We DO use those relays for starter kill switches though! Looks like relay is getting power from fuse 36, which is the fuse forJust to clarify we are ignoring the self tapping screw as a ground? Or will that be a separate thread?
I'm pretty certain by the shitty install and the unclipped zip ties that is a dealer tracker.
Good looking out! Nope, it's something else. Totally innocuous. So no "hey I saw you on tv, and I think you might have thyroid cancer!" moment here. I do love this community though!OP, your fingernails look like youve got some sort of vitamin deficiency
Please tell us you work in a 5-sided building. It would make this a lot more fun!I went to hardwire a dash cam (with the help of many of you good people here) and saw... that fuse 36 had already been tapped. I was not expecting that, because I sure didn't put anything there. I searched here, but didn't find any info on what this is or where it came from. Does anyone know what this is? Also... three ground wires?? MY22 4DR OBX SAS with Lux. And, yes, I am the only owner. Thanks!
Fuse 36 tapped by... the factory? Spies? Jeep? Aliens?
