I have the same thumb nail issue on both hands. Nail matrix or mantle is damaged due to psoriasis or eczema. According to my derm, the other nails usually have furrows but not all do. He said that steroid injections under the nail help some but usually isn't a cure and painful. Not sure if that's the OPs issue but it's truly amazing to see some of the fetishes people have.

Agreed. My fingernails look similar due to psoriasis. My medication helps, but you can still see permanant damage.

Was that red design on the side of it when you got it? I'd ask the dealer, look at the sticker and see if that's something you paid extra for.
Pretty sweet vinyl though. Really messes with the eyes.
