So all of this, many months, and we still haven't seen an actual 6G V8 (Non-DR) move under its own power and work?

From my experience swapping a Coyote into a ‘73 F100.

Cost ~10-15k swap into an “old” vehicle using a used 20,000 mile motor and 6r80. Can’t imagine the cost of this swap. The 5.0 is physically almost the same dimension as a 460 big block so it takes a lot of room. Outside mechanical challenges, knowing what I know about taking a stock harness and integrating into the ‘73 harness it takes hours upon hours to plan and execute wiring to make everything work. I’m not familiar with the Bronco BCM harness but that is the key to this swap. You would use the 5.0 PCM to input into the Bronco BCM which controls all the modules. Can get complicated due to micro switches in the BCM. I totally appreciate the effort and look forward to seeing how they make it work.

For me, would I do it again? In an older vehicle absolutely. A Bronco, I ain’t got time for that, lol.

What's the reason they don't go straight to the Godzilla, no way to get emission cert?

The coyote shines at high rpm. A high speed desert runner and it would eat, maybe not the best choice for low speed wheeling. A highly tuned 2.7 can make power that is close to a stock coyote, but if you add a power adder on a 5.0 you can easily make 600-1000 hp. A coyote will pull past 7,000 rpm and will smile doing it. Here is a pic of the coyote in my ‘73 and pic of the truck from a car show I went to today in Panama City Beach, FL. It’s a blast to drive and is music to the ears.

Think he **missed** the supercharged part of the title. Off idle torque (response) on a TVS coyote is insane. Really nothing you are going to do to a turbo motor to get that.

Yep - Power adder aka TVS another level. Not in the same stratosphere. On my normal aspirated coyote it has plenty of oomph down low even stock, don’t get me wrong, I was trying to make a point it shines with rpm. But again power adder and it shines everywhere.

Here is a few pics of the nicest Bronco at the show. 302 powered and every nut and bolt is new. Dennis Gage from My Classic Car stopped and checked it out. Immaculate and the build was documented on YouTube.

I built it, a labor of love. It was my grandad’s rusted out fishing truck when I started. Now it will cruise at 70 no sweat and get 26 mpg doing it. I drove it around 160 miles yesterday and used 6 gallons.
