What's the reason they don't go straight to the Godzilla, no way to get emission cert?
I think the main reason was they could get a 5.0 and 10 speed auto and all the bits already mated together to make the swap "less complicated" then it already was going to be.

I relate to wiring in the same way I relate to paperwork and filing taxes. Yes, I can do it for the most part....no, I won't do it willingly.

I edited and added one more pic as the harness was getting visibly thinner. I actually enjoyed it, but what I enjoyed most is a when I turned the key and it started🤣🤣💯

It looks really good. A well designed wiring solution always has a sort of zen feeling about it, and having it all work right makes it worth some of that effort anyway. I think my biggest problem with wiring is that I have to make the loom and harness immaculate with a perfect fit, color coding has to be spot on, plus some design changes to make the whole thing easier to troubleshoot or work on down the road. Something that would only take an hour to do ends up costing me a whole day 😑

Yeah I may not be quite as bad but a little OCD when it comes to wiring. I hate if I can’t find a wire the same color when extending. I often use a label printer and make my own identification labels and keep copious notes and diagrams around circuits and wire colors. I also cleaned up and redesigned several circuits on my stock harness adding more fuse protection and expansion capability. I updated the ‘73 fuse panel to modern blade fuses as the wiring appeared to be in good shape overall.

I could see the size/shape of 3/4-1 ton TC maybe being the only issue. The 7.3 does not need a 10 speed (power drivability wise), but you can get one after 2020. Now if the plan was to mate an advanced bronc TC to coyote 10 speed, and it does not fit the F250 10 speed, that is a different story.

Point is, I think the Godzilla is going to be around a lot longer than the coyote, especially in any great numbers once they ditch it in the F150. Why not work through the swap on an engine that has a real usable, tractable, can put out big torque numbers even on regular, torque curve (with no downsides, cept mileage, maybe).

This is awesome. Wife and I borrowed a backdraft racing AC Cobra with a stick in it for the Woodward dream cruise. Scariest and most fun I’ve ever had in a car. Tires were harmed that day.
