What a great idea a foam Corner that slips on the door so in case it does drop it just bounces right there that would be awesome
In one of the videos, they show having the storage bag on the door to help prevent damage.

Had the bag on.
But the door wasn't seated propperly on the top hinge, when i slide the bag off, a nano second later it fell

That sucks. Go to your ford dealer and see if they can help fix it. My ford dealership offered pointless dent repair and have helped with some gnarly dents on a few of my vehicles.
That's not getting fixed paintless...no room to get in behind the dent. 😣

Thanks for sharing. Must feel like dropping your new-born baby. I will pay close attention when putting mine on...
Cheers

My biggest concern now is that the crimp on the edge is broken open so it's just rust waiting to happen and considering how everything's made today are they going to be able to fix it or do I have to get a whole new damn door skin
Maybe it will make you feel a little better to know the door is aluminum, so no need to worry about rust.

That sucks dude. I know now to be extra careful, IF I ever get my Bronco.

You'll be surprised. Had road debris hit and dent the hood on my 2019 expedition on the corner above the head light which was unreachable from inside of hood. They pulled it nearly factory minus the initial chip from impact. There is a guy on youtube that does crazy pointless body work on some major crashed cars on hard creases.

At 4:00 in the video.
Thanks, that 4:00 mark you mentioned, is the exact closeup and explanation of the upper hinge design, I was looking in other videos but not finding that detail.

Hay man sorry for mishap. But thanks for the valuable advice when I get mine. One thing to note, the doors are made of aluminum (similar to F150) so rust won’t be the issue.
