It is amazing that Ford was unable to catch these issues in testing. The pre-production units must have been very different.
What I've gathered on here is the early tops were hand made in Germany and what we're seeing now are quality problems related to ramping up to volume production. Webasto/Ford has to get the automation going full speed or it'll never catch up but it seems to be hurting quality badly so far.

My current plan is to try and find any way to salvage my MIC top immediately after delivery. Hopefully I can find someone with knowledge and experience as to whether it’s worth attempting to paint/line x or not.

From the owner manual....

WAXING YOUR VEHICLE Wax the high-gloss painted surface of your prewashed vehicle once or twice a year. We recommend that you only use an approved quality wax that does not contain abrasives. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to apply and remove the wax. For additional information and assistance, we recommend that you contact an authorized dealer. When washing and waxing, park your vehicle in a shaded area out of direct sunlight.

Note: Avoid waxing unpainted or low-gloss black colored parts, they discolor over time.

I now consider the MIC hardtop disposable (just like softtop). Aside from the embarrassing patterns and rough edges, it is obviously a fragile piece of junk that has no place in an offroad vehicle competing with Wrangler. Very disappointing.
Yes this outlook works for me too -
Ford can just ship Broncos with the crummy MIC hardtop - a "disposable" item -
Then we'll spend the next few years looking for a durable hardtop - maybe MOD top - or maybe the aftermarket will step up with something really good -

So we have seen the tires from the off roadeo Broncos but what about MIC tops? Those are going to be about as early as it gets, right? They’ve been jacked around on the courses and probably baking out in the summer sun, can anyone report back? It would awesome to see if they have snake skin or if they are starting to delaminate or deteriorate.

Assuming Ford doesn't cancel all hardtop and 2dr production, I don't really want to wait until 2023 for 2dr Bronco.

Congrats. Please report back on durability after you have driven through low-hanging branches on the trail. Or you can just do the Elon Musk test with a lacrosse ball. ;)

I’ll definitely keep an eye on the MIC tops during the Moab off roadeo, although I’m pretty sure they’re brand new Bronco’s fresh off the line.

Is there some contact at @Ford Motor Company or elsewhere to document these issues for future remediation? Maybe @PREMiERdrum or @DETT know?

So bummed for you, just horrible. Did your dealer say anything when you took delivery? That might be one of the worst I have seen. Makes me nervous for my pending delivery.
