Now we know why the tops are missing on the new images

As a web application engineer, I can assure you that all the assets and code for the b&P are already up. Tonight they will have some automation that enables the new link to the resources and that’s that. Now we know why the tops are missing on the new images
"Cache Pre-warming"I promise you there are many environments. Dev, test, stage, preprod.. etc
72roadster is pulling these pics from their content delivery management servers (akamai in this case). This system is designed to hold any static images at the edge of their network to reduce latency in retrieval during b&p. It would be very normal to pre-stage these static images on their production CDN prior to a go-live. These wouldn't normally be accessible through just accessing the b&p site prior to the traffic redirect.
I was referring to the change for First Edition and Wild Track, ie the black hard top is late availability. As a web application engineer, I can assure you that all the assets and code for the b&P are already up. Yes, makes sense now...Now we know why the tops are missing on the new images
No lightning blue,@72roadster -you sir are a tease. You obviously know the new paths to the images with the B&P. I heard the site is running faster and has been updated.
thank you for the Navy Pier interior pic. Nice add on the Wildtrak graphics.
How about the following for me...
1) Pic of 2 door First Edition in Lightning Blue top on and top off.
2) Pic of 4 door First Edition Cyber Orange top on and top off.
No lightning blue,
but
My choice is cactus gray. i believe it is lighter than greenAre they going to add a tintcoat/ different primer or something to actually make it look green at all? We can all hope that Cactus Grey looks different from Fighter Jet grey.
Also this would be an opportune time for a "hold on to your butts..." reference.
