I'm interested in this too, I thought once they were turned on the first time that they would come on automatically whenever the headlights turn on.

I use the auto setting anyways so they don't turn on during the day.
Yes, it was more a case of me not being very in tune to how the light settings work, what with leaving it on auto.

This combined with 'Bambi mode', the new fogs from not having any before, plus the new bumper install... really left me over questioning the function.

I think it's working how it's intended.

Specific to your question, I believe the foglights reset and revert back to auto with fogs off after every power down, and once on, will turn on and off with high beams unless Bambi mode is present. What with it being summer, ive had little time with my lights at all, what with it being on auto.

Lots of good info here. Quick question I couldn’t find an answer to:

if you have a mod bumper with parking sensors so it already has wiring for single fog lights can you program them to just come on with the headlights so you don’t have to order a new headlight switch with the additional fog light button?

Jayfromtheba - the fog plugs on the harness are controlled by the BCM. BCM looks for trigger from the headlight switch fog button. Without hacking the harness I don’t think you can use them without the right headlight switch. Another option would be to use this SVP adapter and use the running lights to trigger a fog new fog light relay.https://specialtyperformanceparts.c...Hg2SUBkxOGnU3yCLovzLYVRKdQJalSBwpJIBx-EgFjpos

I have a extra BNIB headlight switch w/fog that I can send you - $40 shipped.

Sounds good what’s the part number?
I bought it while waiting for my Badlands order - got tired of waiting after 2 years and bought a WT that was already equipped with fogs...

Ford Bronco Updated:Fog lights added and connected to factory connector 1000007491

Check out my post here and my Youtube video I made where I add wiring to tap the Factory Fog wire harness & add the OEM Fog swtich.

For Backlighting option, like others suggested, just use one of the Aux switches to control them.

YES you can turn on the Fogs without the headlights on, its a change in Forscan. See this post for Forscan settings:

We have plenty of helpful info here. It's actually not that difficult to hook everything up.
A lot of good info in these fog lights threads but I have a quick question, when you tap into the fog light wires at the c203 connector, are you powering the fog lights with that directly or are you triggering a relay to power the fog lights? Do those fog light wires in the c203 harness going through fuses if there's any chance of an overload?

I didn’t do a relay. OEM fog circuit was powering my fogs.

I went straight from 203, But I'm running > 5amp each fogs. If you're going to be running more than 10 Amps total, I'd do a relay....

Like many others have stated you don't need to do a relay unless the Fog lights you're using have higher rated amps. The OEM Fog Lights run off the main system which has it's own relay built in.

The Fog lights I have are the PIAA SAE LED fogs and they barely pull 2 amps I believe since they're only 6 watts per light or something like that. LED lights have much lower amp draw than the old school halogen bulbs.

Shoulda told me you were doing that. We offer FREE pigtails to customers whom want to do precisely what you are doing :(

We would have included a set of pigtails to plug into your factory harness when we shipped your order
So what your saying is that if i bought these
Baja Designs S2 SAE/S2 Pro Dual Fog Pocket Kit for 2021+ Ford F-150 & Bronco Raptor

for my outer banks with the modular bumper and told you guys that i wanted to connect one set to the factory harness, you would let me know which pigtail would work with it or include it?

Did you buy a fog kit from us? If so what is your order #? But that's also not our kit... our kit is this one: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/baja-d...ckets-for-2021-ford-bronco-hd-modular-bumper/
