My 4 door top for another reference, no leaks from washing. We haven't had significant rainfall yet either.

The front of yours seems a little jacked up too. I can see that possibly causing excess noise.

I didn't even think to check that seal since I haven't taken the pieces off yet, so I'm glad I stumbled across this thread! I knew something didn't seem right. Overall it's a pretty quiet ride, but there was just too much air coming in from that piece. Once it's fixed I'm sure it'll be pretty nice.
Knowing the MIC issues, I took photos of every side at delivery, just in case.

I'm curious about the seal on my MIC top. Does the center seal on your MIC top take a dive like mine? I feel like I'm getting more wind noise than I should be. I've also got a leak from this area.

Here's mine. It sat through some serious rain at the rail depot before delivery last week, no signs of leaking so far.

Thanks,

Yours looks right. Seems to have a nice seal all the way across. Do you hear wind noise?

I think I hear the normal amount of wind noise, definitely nothing in that spot of the inside. I hope you can get yours squared away quick.

I'm actually fine with letting things play out a bit In hopes of getting the best resolution.

The wind noise isn't terrible by any means, but without riding in another Bronco, I have nothing to compare to. From the passengers perspective it sounds like it's coming from the drivers side, and from the drivers perspective it sounds like it's coming from the passenger side. Not really something you can pinpoint, so it could just be normal. I also have the roof rack which could make some additional noise.

This is the top of my 2DR. I have quite a bit of wind noise when traveling at speed. I think its just the shape of the Bronco more than anything. I was driving with front panels removed and the windows up over the weekend. I heard the same whistling sound the entire time, just a bit louder.

@BossBronco my top don't leak... I was just posting a reference pic for the OP. It's been through heavy rain and a touch-free wash so I think I'm good. :) I'll keep an eye out for any leaks when I wash it this weekend with my new foam cannon!

All of the seams are larger than they appear on the exterior. Most are well over an inch with 2-3 separate channels.

Hopefully I don't jinx myself now.... 🤪

Exposed edges and snakeskin/honeycomb are still very real issues on the MIC 2.0 or shall I say MIC 1.1 tops.... I'll defiantly be watching everything closely and reporting any issues with the top that appear to my dealer. Kentucky is about to start experiencing freeze/thaw weather....

UPDATE: Turns out I'm getting significant wind noise. I don't know why I didn't do it sooner, but I stuffed my hand up against the seal while driving and SILENT BLISS!

Kinda crazy that most people buy hard tops as to expect dry and warmer with less noise.

Well... I officially joined the club tonight after work! After sitting on a level surface for about 3 hours of consistent rain, I climbed in the Bronco and was greeted with this.... Getting my first oil change at 1400 miles with the dealer on Saturday and will be reporting the latest developments!
