Upgrade vinyl seats

I’ve been wanting to upgrade the vinyl seats in my recently ordered Area 51 BD. I played around on the katzkin website and came up with some design ideas and want to get everyone’s thoughts. I thought the blue threading looked cool as it went with the blue accents in the interior. I don’t know how brown would look in the gray and black interior of the BD.

I thought about the saddle leather as well, but I’m not sure how all the brown would look with the gray in the interior. The brown interior for the OB would look awesome with the saddle.

I agree, I think it will look good with the green and thinking about having the MIC top painted the same color as the seats, give it an Eddie Bauer vibe!

Once you get your bottom on the factory seats you may not want upgrade. Not just comparing to other vinyl- but to all seats; they are impressive. Try to take a look at a demo and you will see they are special.

I have sat on the seats and I agree they are comfortable I just like the look and feel of leather more.

Mine is a base so, I think the leather will be better than the cloth

Wouldn't trade the BD interior or seats for any of the others. I love it, looks awesome and the best part....its not all black. I would trade it for the "Nintendo" interior that was teased. That was a straight home run there.

I've got almost 7000 miles on my MGV, and there's no way I (personally) would bother with an "upgrade" to leather. Especially when almost all automotive "leather" seating is just leather seating surfaces with the rest being vinyl anyhow.
My backside ain't that special.

Hahaha you’re right but when you have to wait forever to get the actual vehicle, you occupy your time with looking at all the different things you can do to it.
