Another thought: 2D Base model is $200 more than Wrangler Sport but 4D Base model is about $1600 more and comes standard with automatic. So if you assumed a theoretical 4D Base with manual would cost $200 more than a Wrangler Unlimited Sport, then the automatic transmission would cost $1400.

OP, your $ estimates look pretty good. One more thing on the "Extras", there is a tiny/minor difference in the 7 GOAT modes, IIRC:
Badlands: RockCrawl, Mud, Sand, Slippery, Baja, Normal, and Eco
WildTrak: Sport, Mud, Sand, Slippery, Baja, Normal, and Eco

$1995 for 10-Speed. $995 for 2.7. The 10-speed will undoubtedly be quite a bit more expensive than the 2.7 because Ford knows most buyers will require an auto. The average buyer probably doesn't care about the bigger engine.

If the 2.7 is only $995 good lord that would be the deal of the century.

The competition is $2750 for the automatic upgrade, V6 version.
The estimate of $3000 is reasonable for the V6 automatic.

A lot of people have been questioning the cost of the sasquatch pkg. The wheel option on the Raptor which is the same type of wheel is $1895.

While looking at other Ford's may give clues as to the upgrade cost there are other factors

Ford tried really hard to keep base price under 30k, that could mean they are selling that one particular configuration at lower margin just to hit that target

They may be increasing the profit margin on the options because they know people will pay it regardless

Big motor plus auto trans is likely 4k-5k

On my Fusion the upgrade from a 1.5 to the 2.0 was $800, world of difference too.

I'm still trying to figure out if 4 door is standard with automatic or not.
