And non HD aswell. Hell I can get a bigger fuel cell for my 1980 Eagle if i pay for it. I used to work at a company who made tanks, i did pressure testing. Its no big deal.

They do it for diesel. Not for gas. "Gas" tanks are part of the emissions/EVAP system. Call Titan and ask then be an adult and apologize publicly.

High clearance bumper with spare and can mounted gate is in my future. I doubt the long term durability of the rear gate to support near 100lbs off road for a couple 100K miles.

It is similar to the AEV Fuel Caddy, but holds another 1.8 gallons of fuel.

Hopefully it will be adapted to the Bronco sometime soon. If so, it could increase the range of your 2D Black Diamond by 71% (12.0/16.9).

Agreed! Since 2010 the scab raptor has had a 26 gallon tank while the screw has a 36 gallon tank. Scab owners have been wanting a bigger tank and 10 years later nothing.

No one will make a replacement tank due to liability issues. YES, you can put a fuel cell in the cargo area if you wish BUT a bigger replacement tank will never happen.

Also if you note the position of the OEM tank, it sits between the frame rails in front of the differential .. so very protected in case of a crash. Aftermarket replacements tank will have to crashed tested and that is not going to happen due to $$ and lack of room.

I much prefer the jerry can mount options. Way more versatile.

If my trip involves extra remote miles or needing to run my gas generator, I can bring extra gas cans.

If my trip is setting up basecamp in the desert for a week, then I can bring extra water.

My extra gas to extra water ratio depends on where I'm going, what I'm doing, the weather, and how long I'll be out.

A dedicated Titan gas tank behind my spare can only hold gas, whereas the jerry can mounts behind the spare can hold gas cans or water cans.

I cant imagine ever using this unless you are very specifically taking a remote route where no other gas options exist.

Like... how does one get the gas from this into the fuel tank? The simplest options still seem no less time consuming than pulling into a gas station.

It has very little practical use, just like gas cans on the back but, for that one time.... I carried an empty Jerry can for years on my Jeep, and empty Rotopax on the motorcycle. Almost no one will ever need it.

The Titan comes with a siphon to get it into the tank.
