Hey,

I have backlighting on my light bar which already has power. I didnt want to use another switch for the back light. Now I have other pretty lights that have power and I want to tie them into the same switch.

Rather not run the wire to the engine bay but may need to. Thoughts....

My pin tester has failed...😢

Any help or recommendations would be great!!!

You don’t want to tie them together at the switch. The switches themselves are triggering a relay inside of the battery junction box, which sits in the engine bay. The only power to those switches is run the relay and the LED light—but the full power (ie. 30 amps for circuit #1) isn’t running through the switch itself.

So you’ll have to run cables to the engine bay OR use the pre-run unconnected wires that are ran throughout the vehicle. That’s the table @heelyeah posted, and it should also be in the Bronco’s instruction manual.

Hey, thanks! As I started to look at the connector and realized I had already ran the backlight wire behind the glovebox n tiewrapped up... I dropped the idea.

Any good / easy spot to run through the firewall near the glovebox?

Thanks again...👍👍
