It's clearly a niche product, but for certain kinds of overlanders it's a very solid (though expensive) solution.
I really wish we could get together to convince opus campers to make an airbeam camper top that fit the Bronco. They have an awesome tech that could really fit the overland vehicle camper M.O. Better than adding the extra weight and/or breakability with the pneumatic support struts that Ursa Minor uses.
At pre order i dont think i choose color. It was a while back though. No clue on the hard top wiring kit. Id call them and ask. I am going soft top with the hard top prep kit. I would think either way they will have you covered to make a top fit and have power.

I am number three on the waiting list for the Ursa Minor. They are now saying December for final details of your order. Personally I cannot wait. This is a much better feature to not having a little ladder to climb up and down! I have a Ford Ranger with a roof top tent and the only reason I am selling the rig is because of the ladder.
I put my deposit down in February this month for Ursa Minor hoping they’d have something by the time my bronco showed up. Looks like it’s still a waiting game. Bronco is here though.

Hell, just buy a new tent for each camping trip. You still come out ahead and you don't have to repack it into the tiny bag. Just toss it and start out new.

Nothing but silence lots and lots of silence
I talked to John of UM a couple of weeks ago. He said it is still the supply chain issues that is holding the production. He sounded frustrated as I am. Yes, it would be good to have something on their website with updates. UM did send out a questionnaire a few month back about what folks might be looking for on their tent and he said he received a 98% return on his inquiry.
On the note of "other" roof top tents, you need a LADDER. I am not getting any younger and I recently sold a Ranger with a RTT because of the need to enter and exit on a ladder. Also, I like the idea of being able to stand up in the Bronco, which makes getting dressed and other things convent.
