Bronco wheels at 17x9 do not weigh 22 pounds. I have them weighing 24 pounds. The 6x135 wheel is just at 23 pounds on my scale

It occurred to me if 2 wheels are identical and 1 wheel is at +18 offset and the other wheel is 0 offset .. the 0 offset will weigh more and sure enough it does.

It weighs more due to more material in the hub area.

no. I have 2 sets of 17x9 at 6x135 (F150) and 1 set of 17s at 6x139.7 (base bronco)

I stay away from 18s as tires get more expensive
