Anyone have any idea how to access and download the collected data from our rigs? Or for how long the data is stored? We were recently in an accident, other driver ran a stop sign, but claims we did. I'd like to see if we can get the data that shows we stopped.....

You need a specialized tool similar to the Bosch CDR CANPlus.

I would suggest a lawyer and someone who specializes in crash data retrieval.

Typically less than 30 seconds of data is recorded—several seconds before the crash event and a few seconds after.

Thanks Bryan, do you happen to know for how long data is kept? This occurred a few weeks ago now.

I don't. Only time I've used it is after a crash in which airbags were deployed, and obviously the vehicle wasn't going anywhere after that.

If this was a fender bender sorta thing and airbags weren't actually deployed then it may not have even saved the event.

That it was! Though more of a fender remover for him! He scraped along the front recovery point, ripped his rear bumper and facia right of, my bumper and grill are barely scratched! 🤣
